FAQs

Q. So what is this exactly?

A. Inspired by the romantic pottery scene in the movie Ghost, you and your date will each share a pottery wheel and ball of clay to create a love pot. You'll have an hour on the wheel to throw, paint, and decorate your piece. Then you'll leave it with us so we can fire and glaze it.

Q. We're totally new to pottery, is that ok?

A. Completely! We'll help you out with all the hard parts. Most people are beginners, so you'll be in good company.

Q. What do we wear? Are we going to get dirty?

A. We have aprons for you to use, and a bathroom if you prefer to change your clothes. You shouldn't get too dirty, but I would suggest not wearing your best shoes (or take them off).

Q. How do we reserve?

A. I'll take your name and phone number for your preferred time slot, and that's it. You don't need to leave a deposit, and you can pay when you get here. The price is $60 cash, $60+tax credit (all major accepted).

Q. Do you provide snacks or drinks?

A. Not unless I can get a hold of some girl scout cookies. Feel free to bring whatever you like. I'll have plastic cups available.

Q. Is there parking?

A. Unfortunately it's street only. There is usually parking on side streets (41st or Marlborough), and sometimes right out front.
