What to wear?
You can wear your normal clothes, but if you have nice shoes you might want to change or leave them off. Clay washes out easily, and we also have aprons and towels.
Should I bring anything?
We’ll have everything you need for the class, but feel free to bring your own aprons or tools if you have them. If you want to experiment with texture,
I’ve never done clay, ever.
Seriously, it’s totally fine. Most people are super beginners, and we’ll guide you through. Amanda (or your instructor) will center the clay and take your piece off the wheel, which are basically all of the hard parts.
Do we get to paint them?
We’re sort of the opposite of the paint-your-own-pottery places. You’ll make the piece and pick your colors, but we’ll glaze it.
Are there private sessions?
Since the wheels are limited to four at a time, if you book four spots you will have the closest thing to a “private party”. We look forward to opening up things more down the road.
