Our last Mold Making workshop was a success and we’re back for more. We’ll show you how to make a plaster mold from an item of your choice and then you can use it to cast forms for the Raku fire.
Plaster molds are how many commercially produced ceramics are made. Once the mold is finished, you can pour in specially prepared clay slip and you will have an exact replica of your item. You can see more of the mold making process here. And the slip pouring here.
